2023: Dear Patry- Artisan for Henry Beguelin, Your bag is loved

Dear Patry,

I am lucky to own the Venta Clio Shopping Bag number BD5700 which you so carefully crafted.  It is very nice that your company puts a card in every carefully, handmade bag so the person who buys it is aware of how unique and special it is.

It occurred to me that you may never know where your hard work ends up.  So, I simply wanted to write to you to let you know how much I appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship of my beautiful bag.  It is a favorite of mine and I use it often.  I live in a city called Minneapolis, Minnesota-thousands of miles away from your workshop.  When I visit where I was born in Colorado, I often visit the Henry Beguelin shop.  Thank you to Virvile Verellen who helped me try to get this note delivered to you.

Thank you so much for the hours you put in to make this special bag.  I treasure it and will do my best to treat it with care. If I ever come to Vigevano, Italy I will be sure to try to thank you in person!

Gratefully,

Ann Simonds
